Trees

Part of Chaparra Resources commitment to local government is to ensure that the 100-hectare site is cultivated. Approximately 400 hundred trees have been delivered and work will begin next week on creating grass terraces.

Infrastructure projects

In preparation for the long-awaited start up several small projects have been underway. Firstly, the construction of a foundry is near completion and last week the plant took delivery of an
amalgamation unit and that is now housed within the foundry area.

The back supporting walls to the mills have also been completed and the platform base extended with another reservoir situated directly under where C3 will operate.

Work has also started on the customers accommodation unit.

Emergency tailings pond

Initial groundwork has now been completed.
