The last few weeks have been extremely troubling with much of the mining industry grinding to a halt due to roadblocks and rioting. However, things have begun to improve in many parts of the country and so much so our team in Chala has continued with the installation of Chaparra Resources third milling machine (C3) which when completed will increase the plants daily processing capacity to 55 tonnes per day.

Before the troubles started, we began work on a new link road from the plant to the Pan American highway which we are pleased to announce has now been completed.
